Lubetz Architects

Lubetz Architects emphasizes collaboration and experimentation to achieve experientially powerful, environmentally responsive, and functional architecture. We provide individualized attention and services to our clients, and always keep their original vision and budget in mind. For us, architecture is an interactive, ongoing, and creative expression. Our adaptable, flexible buildings are designed to evolve, thereby increasing their ability to remain both functionally viable and relevant. We owe our reputation for excellence and reliability to an intensive review process that includes code compliance, budget controls, and sound construction practices. Innovative use of provocative yet economical materials allows our architecture to be fresh and unique. Due to these practices, none of our buildings has ever failed to be built because it exceeded budget. During our forty years of practice, Lubetz Architects has received significant awards, including a 2007 Design Honor Award from the AIA and a Superior Interior Award from The Pittsburgh Magazine. Our work has also been selected for inclusion in the Carnegie Mellon Architecture Archives and has been published nationally in Architectural Record, Architecture, The New York Times, The New York Post, Skala, Metropolitan Home, and Progressive Architecture.
