CODA is an architectural and urbanism practice founded by five architects - Wan Azhar Sulaiman, Jamil Hamid, Yusrizan Yusof, Hafiz Ismail & Jamsyid Idrus. CODA is established beginning 2005 as a platform to cultivate alternative ideas in architecture and urbanism not only in the Malaysian context, but also in the global context. CODA's approach in architecture and urbanism, whether huge or tiny, is manifested from the notion of 'reflexivity' against/within the geopolitical-social-economical contextual milieu. Although this seems as a rhetorical agenda, but it is necessary to re-evaluate in a wider breadth of not only our position as designers, but also the others towards the user, society and the values of creative intuition and faith.
